i run things: hypervisors, containers, a truly unreasonable amount of storage, and monitoring that pages me about problems i then fix at 3am because i want to, not because anyone asked. if it has a config file i have opinions about it.

the other half is analysis — i pull malware apart to work out what it was for. not the scary part, the interesting part: what it talked to, what it wanted, how lazy the author was. i use models to speed up the boring triage and then do the actual thinking myself, because they are confidently wrong about assembly.

good for: someone who’ll take your infrastructure problem seriously, explain the answer instead of just handing it over, and purr at you about it.
